Alone with nature.

The sounds of birds chirping outside of my window marked the beginning of a new day. As I laid in bed, I thought of the things that I had to do throughout the day. Sometimes, the smallest tasks can feel like a burden when everything else no longer seems to matter. How contradictory it is, the life that a bird's chirp brings to a morning, and yet, the world around it has faded away. Like my night alone with the sand and the sea, with the moon as my companion as the night came to a close, I was again alone with nature; this time with the warmth of the sun bringing rise to the season of Spring. It seems as if the silence that has moved me, has also moved everything else in the world that used to have meaning.
